Gov. Bill Ritter is set to hold his final bill signing ceremony and he's using the event to focus on renewable energy. He plans to sign a package of bills during Friday's event. They includes ones to create a smart grid task force, start a green jobs training program in the governor's office and set up a green jobs advisory council.
Since taking office in 2007, Ritter has signed nearly 60 pieces of clean-energy legislation. In January, Ritter announced he wouldn't run for a second term.
