GOP straegist Karl Rove headed to Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - GOP strategist Karl Rove is headed to Colorado for Republican fundraisers in Denver and Colorado Springs.
The former White House advisor is in Colorado Wednesday. He's a good choice for Republican money-raisers. Rove's American Crossroads advocacy group is among the nation's top-spending political interest groups, and is projected to spend more than candidates and parties themselves in some races next year.
Republicans may also want to hear what Rove thinks about the current crop of GOP presidential hopefuls. In April, Rove dismissed Donald Trump as "a joke candidate." Rove is credited for engineering successful presidential campaigns for George W. Bush.
