Colorado Republican gubernatorial candidate Dan Maes appears headed for the November ballot. Secretary of State Bernie Buescher has to certify the ballot by the close of business Friday, and Maes says he's not going anywhere.

Maes has faced a growing chorus of calls to drop out of the race amid several campaign missteps and questions about his murky history as a law enforcement officer.

Republican Senate candidate and tea party favorite Ken Buck was the latest to withdraw his support for Maes on Friday.

Also, Mike Coffman Republican Congressman and former Secretary of State, has withdrawn his support of Maes as well.

Maes won the GOP primary in August without backing from the Republican establishment. He says people are "sick and tired of the machine."
