Kings Deer tells News 5 they plan to reopen the golf course for play on May 10th.
Doug Almond, with "Almond Golf LLC", says "The company is committed to develop King's Deer Golf Course into a world-class public course. Our long term goal is to be the premier public golf course in our state that will attract local and national events that will bring value to our community".
Almond went on to tell News 5, he lives in the community and will not manage the company from a distance. He also says they have hired familiar faces to serve the needs of Kings Deer.
They are planning a soft opening, May 3rd for homeowners and previous members in the community. They plan to open to the public on May 10th.
The golf course closed suddenly in mid February, after it was apparently foreclosed on, by a bank based out of Nebraska.
