Get paid to recycle

A new recycling program in Colorado Springs allows you to earn rewards for being "green." The Recycle Bank has joined efforts with Waste Connections of Colorado to try and increase household recycling.
Here's how it works: customers earn reward points for every pound of trash they recycle. Those points can then be redeemed at local and national retailers, grocery stores and restaurants. The points can even be donated to charities and schools.
