Get an emergency kit

The Waldo Canyon Fire was a reminder that we all need to be prepared for an emergency at any time.
The Independence Center says this is especially important to anyone with a disability. Suggestions include a 72 hour kit for the home and car.
It should include:
- It should include copy of insurance cards
- Food for service animals, as well as a plan to take care of them
- Medications
- Communication cards
- Batteries
- Equipment
- Ability to communicate special needs
