Gas prices on the rise in Colorado

The price of a gallon of gas has been on the rise in Colorado.

The average cost of a gallon of gas has risen 10-cents over the last week, and is now $3.44 a gallon. The national average cost of a gallon of gas has risen 12-cents, to $3.41.

Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg cited changes in the price of crude oil because of violence in the petroleum-producing nations of Venezuela and South Sudan.

But there is good news for Coloradan's looking to fuel up. The price of gas is 11-cents lower than one year ago.
