Prices for unleaded gasoline have been declining across Colorado for the last nine weeks.
Looking at numbers from Triple A; In October the average price for a gallon of unleaded fuel in Colorado was $3.53, now it's down more than thirty cents to $3.21.
The average price for a gallon of unleaded in Colorado Springs is $3.18; in Pueblo it's $3.19.
"They tell us that (gas prices are dropping) but my receipts are all still about the same," says Shaunna Koonsman.
Shane Lollar has seen several different prices on his way to Copper Mountain.
"During the 15 hours from Texas it averaged from $2.90 to a high of $3.09," says Lollar. He bought the $3.09 fuel in Pueblo.
Diesel fuel prices haven't shown the same decline, prices are higher now than back in October. The national average for a gallon of diesel fuel is $3.90; Colorado's average is $3.87 (COS $3.81 / Pueblo $3.83).
Triple A is expecting 91.9 million travelers to hit the road this holiday season.
