Garage fire threatens home and other buildings in El Paso County

A garage fire threatened several building near Rush in Eastern El Paso County on Sunday.
Firefighters were called to a home on the 7000-block of Davenport Road and found a garage fully engulfed in flames. High winds also threatened to start a grass fire and spread the flames to several surround buildings. There were also several fuel tanks inside the garage.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire safely and nobody was injured, though the garage was a total loss. Investigators haven't determined what caused the fire.
