The Bessemer Historical Society will host a dinner fundraiser on February 19 at the Pueblo Convention Center.

This year's theme, The Bessemer Neighborhood: 125 Years of Sweat and Steel, serves as the kick-off for a year-long celebration of activities commemorating the incorporation of the town of Bessemer into the City of Pueblo.

Honorary Event Chairman Ray Aguilera will be joined by Ray Kogovsek and Jack Quinn with stories celebrating the history of Bessemer. Our master of ceremonies for the evening will be News First 5 meteorologist Craig Eliot.

Tickets are $55.00 per person for members of the Bessemer Historical Society and $65.00 per person for non-members. Tickets are available at the Steelworks Museum of Industry and Culture, 215 Canal St., Pueblo, CO 81004 or by calling (719) 564-9086. Sponsorships and corporate tables are available.

The proceeds from the event will be used to help with the ongoing preservation of the CF&I Archives. For more information about the collection, visit the Bessemer Historical Society's website.
