The Army officer accused in the Fort Hood shooting rampage has been moved from a military hospital to a jail near the Texas post.
According to online jail records, Maj. Nidal Hasan was listed as a Bell County Jail inmate Friday morning. His attorney, John Galligan, says he's concerned that authorities did not notify him of the transfer in advance as promised.
Galligan says a Fort Hood official told him that Hasan was airlifted to the jail around 4 a.m.
The Army psychiatrist had been at a military hospital since shortly after the Nov. 5 shootings, which left him paralyzed. Hasan is charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder.
He faces an Article 32 hearing, similar to a grand jury proceeding, as early as July 1.
