Ft. Carson soldier who drowned ID'd

Ft. Carson has released the name of a soldier who drowned Sunday on post. He was Spc. Terry L. Ryan, II. The 23 year old was trying to get a boat that had drifted away at Townsend Reservoir. He went under the water and never came back up.

Ryan was from Watsontown, Pennsylvania. Spc. Ryan joined the Army in September 2007 and had served a year in Iraq.
