Ft. Carson's main gate back open

Fort Carson's main gate off Highway 115 is back open after a suspicious package closed Gate 1 and diverted traffic.
What was thought to be a suspicious package was a step-stool covered in camouflage material.
Officials at Fort Carson used precaution when the covered step-stool was not identifiable right away and called the Army's Explosive Ordinance Disposal crew out to investigate.
