Friday: Stargazer night at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

Traverse the night sky through telescopes with the guidance of the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society this Friday at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. The Zoo will host its final Stargazer Night of the year.

Cool Science and Science Matters will have fun activities for kids of all ages. Check out the Egyptian fruit bats, wide-eyed and active with the sun down.

The Stargazer Night will run from 8-10 pm. The cost: Adults $5, Children (3-11) $4.

Driving Directions from Interstate 25-- Take exit 138 (Circle Drive). Go west to The Broadmoor Hotel. Turn right at the hotel and follow the signs to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
