FREX saved, at least for now

The Front Range Express commuter bus service will continue to take riders from Colorado Springs to Denver, at least for the next year. Colorado Springs City Council members voted Tuesday to use the $1.44 million it received from the sale of nine of the buses to fund its share of the operating expenses for the next year. Transportation planners are searching for more permanent funding solution.
