Free lecture at Garden of the Gods Tuesday

With weather in the 60s, this is the perfect time to visit Garden of the Gods. On Tuesday, park volunteers Jan and Ken Hardisonwill give a free half-hour presentation of "Christmastime with General Palmer." You'll get a glimpse of how the city's founder celebrated in splendor.
The program begins at 12 p.m. in the Red Rocks Room at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center. Continue the conversation with lunch (at your own expense) with a spectacular view of Garden of the Gods from the café.Walk off your lunch afterwards with a stroll through the park.
