Colorado Springs, CO - Complimentary kids tickets for the 66th U.S. Women's Open, to be held July 4 - 10 at The Broadmoor, are available now at southern Colorado Loaf ‘N Jug stores to all youngsters age 17 and under.
Organizers are encouraging all kids and their parents to visit southern Colorado Loaf ‘N Jug stores to pick up their free kid ticket. Kids will have access to the junior tent at the Broadmoor and the front row of each grandstand is reserved for kids. More than 8,000 kids attended the 2008 U.S. Senior Open at The Broadmoor.
On Tuesday, July 5th, Paula Creamer, 2010 U.S. Women's Open champion, will host a junior clinic on the driving range at The Broadmoor. The first 750 kids to attend the clinic will receive a special gift compliments of Loaf ‘N Jug and Coca-Cola.
"We are excited about our partnership with both Loaf ‘N Jug and Coca-Cola who have helped to make our junior program possible," stated Russ Miller, Director of Golf at The Broadmoor. He continued, "We expect just as many kids through our gates if not more than the Senior Open."
Gates will open daily at 7:00 a.m. and will close following the conclusion of play (around 7:00 p.m.) Daily capacity on the golf course is limited to 30,000 individuals to enable all spectators the opportunity to experience the championship up close.
