Need a free haircut? Or free groceries? There's a big event scheduled in Pueblo on Saturday, Sept. 19 to help people in need.

The event is being sponsored by Convoy of Hope. Local businesses, churches, and other organizations have partnered to provide help to anyone who needs it. The group is offering haircuts, groceries, health screening, clothing, and dental checkups. Best of all--it's free!

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Midtown Shopping Center, located at 1015 W. 6th St. in Pueblo.

The giveaways are on a first come, first serve basis. They plan to distribute 2,000 items of clothing and 35,000 lbs of groceries. Organizers say people will also receive a hot meal and cold drinks at the event. There will be games for kids and inflatable play areas.
