Mountain Metropolitan Transit will be celebrating Earth Day by offering free rides on Colorado Springs local city buses, Friday, April 20th.
"Mountain Metropolitan Transit is dedicated to the idea that public transportation is a crucial part of the solution to our energy and environmental challenges," said Craig Blewitt, director Mountain Metropolitan Transit. "We hope the free rides on Friday, April 20 will help demonstrate the importance of public transportation and encourage more people in our community to think about alternative modes of transportation."
Free rides are available on the local fixed-route, city buses only, MMT's other services are not included.
