Fountain police look for possible cop impersonator

Area police are looking for a man who may be impersonating a Fountain Police Officer. Around midnight last night they got a call from a woman who said a man pounded on her door. She said he was wearing a uniform similar to Fountain Police, with a utility belt that included handcuffs, pepper spray and a baton. But he had a two-day growth of beard on his face. He said he was an area police officer.
When she told him he wasn't an officer he left, driving an older model white vehicle with a spot light on the driver's side door.
