Fountain-Fort Carson cancer survivor is "Athlete of the Week"

A slick fielding infielder and cancer survivor is this week's "Loaf ‘N Jug High School Athlete of the Week." Congratulations to senior infielder Jeremy Luna from Fountain-Fort Carson High School.
Jeremy is currently batting .250 for the 4-0 Trojans and is one of the best fielders in the league. Last season he was named All-Metro League honorable mention. Plus he's a childhood cancer survivor and that may be his most impressive stat.
Jeremy also wrestled at Fountain-Fort Carson and says he's looking forward to playing college baseball.
