FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Fort Collins is considering whether to ban all outdoor smoking at restaurants and bars.

Current law allows smoking on patios as long as the smoker is at least 20 feet from a door, window or air vent.

Some bars let people smoke outside regardless of how far they are from the door.

According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, city officials are now surveying bar and restaurant owners and their employees before making a decision.
