FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Fort Collins is considering providing late-night buses for people who imbibe too much.
City officials and Associated Students of Colorado State
University want to run the buses Friday and Saturday from downtown to residential areas with large student populations.
The Safe Ride Home program would be open to anyone looking for a ide from 11:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, the fare would be $1. The money would come from fares, $50,000 from the police departments camera radar fund and 34,000 from student fees.
