Fort Carson considering cattle on maneuver site

PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - Fort Carson officials are studying whether they can let Southeastern Colorado ranchers graze cattle on the Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site.
The Army says it will probably cancel plans for large-unit training at the Pinon Canyon range this year because of the federal budget gridlock and the mandatory sequestration of $85 billion in federal spending.
According to the Pueblo Chieftain, ranchers and the military have been at odds for years on access to grazing land.
