Fort Carson bomb disposal unit getting new chief

FORT CARSON, Colo. (AP) - A bomb-disposal unit at Fort Carson is getting a new commander.
Col. William R. McDonough will formally take charge of the 71st Ordnance Group on Thursday from Col. Leo E. Bradley.
The group has about 1,300 members.
Bradley led the unit for more than two years. It served in both Afghanistan and Iraq in that time.
