Former CU quarterback to speak in Pueblo

Former CU Quarterback Charles Johnson will be the featured speaker at the Pueblo Boys & Girls Clubs Steak ‘n Burger fundraiser at the Pueblo Convention Center on June 11.

Johnson is best known for leading the Buffaloes to their first national football title in 1991. He's now Assistant Athletic Director at CU and a motiviational speaker.

Funds are raised through table sponsorships, individual ticket sales and a live auction and silent auction. This year's auction will feature art pieces by Club youth, sports memorabilia and fantastic gift baskets. Entertainment will be provided by Casey Brock & KC Messick.

Individual tickets to Steak ‘n Burger are $75 and can be purchased by calling (719) 564.0055 or visit the Club's website. Table sponsorships are also available.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County has three locations, one on Pueblo's East side, another in the Sangre de Cristo Apartment Complex, and one in Avondale.
