Forensics investigation under way near Woodland Park

Teller County Sheriffs Office tells News First 5 that Deputies from the county and CBI investigators are conducting a forensics investigation in a residence North of Woodland Park. The local agencies are working on an agency assistance request connected to a case out of the Carolinas.
An official release is pending and more details of the investigation are due to be released at a later time. We will update this report as soon as new information comes available.
