Forecast low for San Luis Valley rivers

ALAMOSA, Colo. (AP) - Forecasters say the San Luis Valley is headed for rough water this year.

According to the Alamosa Valley Courier, this could be one of the lowest water years since 1889.

The Colorado Division of Water Resources said Tuesday annual flows on the Rio Grande and Conejos River systems are even lower this month than they were in April.
