Focus on the Family will run statewide ads during Denver Broncos games for the first time this season. The Colorado Springs-based family-counseling ministry attracted a lot of attention by running an ad during the Super Bowl featuring Tim Tebow, now a Broncos' rookie quarterback.

Focus vice president Gary Schneeberger said it got a good package deal to run ads on CBS affiliates in Colorado during more than a dozen games. The first one will run during this weekend's preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He declined to disclose the cost of the new ads or reveal specifics about the campaign, except to say they won't be political or religious.

Schneeberger says the ads will make statements on social values and will touch on the sanctity of life.
