Texas is dealing with its second winter snowstorm in two weeks.
Scores of flights have been canceled and crews are sanding roads.
American Airlines says more than 100 flights have been canceled today at its main hub, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
All flights were canceled today at San Angelo Regional Airport-Mathis Field, served by American Eagle, after snow closed all three runways.
Austin was coated with snow this morning, but the snowflakes barely stuck with temperatures just above freezing. A layer of white dusted the grounds of the Texas Capitol. Austin police are reporting an uptick in traffic accidents as overpasses begin to get slippery.
The National Weather Service says snow also was reported in Abilene, Corsicana, Grand Prairie, Hillsboro, Kerrville, Midland, Odessa, Palestine, Pecos, San Angelo and Waco.
