Flight delay solution?

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Obama administration appears to be willing to accept legislation eliminating Federal Aviation Administration furloughs blamed for lengthy delays affecting airline passengers.

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood held talks with key legislators today about easing the impact of across-the-board budget cuts on the FAA.

According to the National Air Traffic Controllers Association, there have been more than 5,800 flight delays across the country for the three-day period beginning Sunday.
