Flash Flood Watches & Warnings: 8:30 PM Sunday Update

Updated 8:30 PM

A Small Stream Flood Advisory is in effect for western El Paso County, including the Waldo Canyon burn scar, until 11:30 PM.

A Small Stream Flood Advisory is in effect for western Pueblo County, northern Huerfano County, and northeastern Custer County until 11:30 PM. This includes Beulah, Rye, San Isabel, and Colorado City.

A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for northern El Paso County, including the Black Forest burn scar, until 11 PM.

A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for southern Huerfano County, including the East Peak burn scar, until 9:00 PM.

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for counties along and west of Interstate 25 in Southeastern Colorado from noon Sunday until noon Monday. The following counties are included: El Paso, Pueblo, Fremont, Teller, Custer, Huerfano, and western Las Animas. A Flash Flood Watch means weather conditions are favorable for flash flooding to occur. Flash flooding can be deadly, and you do not have to be near rivers or streams for flash flooding to occur. If flash flooding occurs, move to higher ground for safety. If you are in the Flash Flood Watch area, review your response plan and be prepared to carry that plan out if flash flooding occurs.
