CALGARY, Alberta (AP) - A university graduate and son of a veteran Calgary police officer faces charges in what the police chief calls the worst mass slaying in the western Canadian city's history.
Police say 22-year-old University of Calgary graduate Matthew Douglas de Grood is charged in the stabbing deaths of five people at a house party.
Officials say there's nothing to indicate alcohol or drug abuse.
