Fishing Derby in Pueblo Saturday

Little kids will have the change to learn how to fish in Pueblo on Saturday, in the 20th Annual La Gente Youth Sports Fishing Derby at Horseshoe Lake in City Park.
"We want to give an opportunity to youth to experience the outdoors and the sport of angling," Valdez said. "We will serve breakfast and lunch to all who participate." The derby will offer special prizes for the ugliest fish, biggest fish, smallest fish and more.
The event starts at 8 a.m. It's open to kids ages 14 and under. The lake has been stocked with 1,500 trout.
