Firefighters contain blaze in Jefferson County

CONIFER, Colo. (AP) - A 40-acre fire that evacuated more than 30 homes in the foothills southwest of Denver is fully contained.
Jefferson County sheriff's officials say firefighters contained the fire Friday night and were moving through snow to check for hot spots Saturday.
The fire broke out Thursday. The cause hasn't been determined. No structures were lost.
