Firefighters begin investigation into downtown Pueblo fire

PUEBLO--Firefighters are scheduled to hold a news conference on a fire that ripped through several downtown businesses at 10 a.m. today.

Fire crews were on scene all night monitoring hot spots at the building, which is located near the corner of 3rd and Court streets.

Pueblo fire bosses say that the massive fire broke out just after 6 p.m. last night in an empty building. It then spread to the Johnson Sport and Ski building next door, and then to four or five empty storefront businesses, including the old DHS Photograpy, and Denver Furniture.

Right now, no injuries have been reported.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
