UPDATE: Fire near Royal Gorge forces evacuations

More than 100 firefighters are working to gain control of a wildfire burning west of Canon City near the Royal Gorge.
Buckskin Joes as well as all businesses and residences on 8 mile hill, County Road 61 and the southside of Highway 50 are evacuated. The Royal Gorge closed Monday afternoon. Crews didn't know yet if any of them would reopen Tuesday.
At least 700 acres have burned, along with several structures.
