Good news for small businesses impacted by the Waldo Canyon fire.
The Colorado Springs Business Alliance has teamed up with others in the Pikes Peak region to offer a recovery loan.
It provides financing for companies and allows for a program to be in place should another natural disaster occur.
"We knew we needed to act to establish a program to help support businesses who were impacted and are still going through the challenges of recovery even eight months after the fire," said Joe Raso, President and CEO of the Colorado Springs Business Alliance.
If you're interested here's what you need to know:
The loan amount is up to $10,000 with zero percent interest rate for twelve months and then 12 percent interest after that. The loan is being offered through Wells Fargo and the Colorado Enterprise Fund.
