Fire in Las Animas County started by downed power lines

The Las Animas County Sheriff says a fire that sparked off of Hwy 160 near River Canyon Ranch has been contained.
Officials say windy conditions blew over power lines, which started the fire. Approximately 15 miles of land burned, no structures were damaged. Fire officials will watch the burn area overnight to monitor hot spots.
