Fire gutted homes in Wetmore area

Today residents in the Wetmore area got their first close-up look at the damage caused by a fire. Officials re-opened the highways leading into Wetmore, although they weren't allowing anyone to stop on highway. Fourteen homes were destroyed by the fire. In this photo you can see how the fire ripped through the area by the highway, leaving mangled metal and debris and in its path.
