The Pueblo County Emergency Services Bureau responded to a house fire around 8 p.m. last night on Nature Center Road in Pueblo.

There are no injuries reported. But the house has been deemed a total loss.

When crews arrived on scene the house was completely engulfed in flames. Since the structure is not in a fire district, West Park Fire, Pueblo West Fire Department and the Pueblo County Emergency Services Bureau all had crews on scene.

The bureau says there was ammunition in the house so it made fighting the fire more difficult and dangerous. Crews ran out of water because they were pumping from a truck.

They say lightning started the fire.
