RED FLAG WARNING for extreme fire danger for all of southeastern Colorado today!

Hot weather today, gusty southwest winds from 20-30 mph+ and very dry relative humidity has caused the fire danger to become extreme again. Abundant fuels in the form of things like trees, grasses, weeds and brush are very dry and will burn easily in combination with our drought conditions. Keep in mind Stage 2 fire restrictions are in effect for almost all of our area which means no fireworks, outside burning, open flames or campfires.
