Fire crews deliver baby--again

If it's January 26, then the Westminster Fire crews are probably out delivering babies.
For the second year in a row, Westminster Fire delivered a baby on that date.

This year they got a call that a woman was in labor at a house at 3:53 a.m. Tuesday. Fire officials say crews helped deliver the baby moments after arriving--right there in the woman's bedroom.

The mother, Vanessa Martinez, and her baby boy, Damian Jr., are doing fine.

Last Jan. 26, Westminster Fire also successfully delivered a baby. In that case the delivery happened in an ambulance.
