Firefighters say a grass fire that broke out on the western edge of the Denver area has burned about 73 acres.

The fire is 90 percent contained and crews will try to fully contain it Tuesday. The fire is burning along C-470 just south of Morrison Road and was reported Monday afternoon. It's not known how it started.

Crews got some help from rain. Overnight, firefighters kept watch and reported no change in fire activity.
