Fire burning in trees, grass west of Fort Collins

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say a wildfire west of Fort Collins has destroyed an outbuilding, a motorcycle and an all-terrain vehicle, but no injuries have been reported and no evacuations have been ordered.

The Larimer County Sheriff's Department says the fire has burned 20 to 25 acres of grass and heavy timber in rugged terrain about 13 miles west of Horsetooth Reservoir. Deputies say the fire is 25 to 30 percent contained.

Deputies say the motorcycle and ATV were stored in the outbuilding that burned. Roads in the area are closed to everyone except local residents. The cause of the fire hasn't been determined. Winds have been calm but stronger winds are in the forecast.
