A fire at the Woodland Park High School has sent kids home from school early today.

The fire started around 1:15 Tuesday in the metal shop and spread through the ceiling, but firefighters have put the fire out. The school was evacuated and all the students are accounted for.  There were no injuries reported.

Buses were on scene to take kids home. Kids waiting for a ride are at the Teen Center at 220 W South Ave.

No word yet on whether or not classes will resume on Wednesday.
