Frigid temperatures caused problems for firefighters in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts as a fire tore through a home on Ash Street early Thursday morning.
"That first hydrant they found was frozen which meant they had to try and find another hydrant. The next three hydrants beyond that were also frozen," said Chief Leonard Hunt of the West Bridgewater Fire Department.
Responders had to rely on the water stored in the trucks and needed help from neighboring towns. The difficulty in finding water slowed down how quickly firefighters could put out the fire.
