Several charities in Pueblo are gearing up for a huge toy giveaway this weekend. The Salvation Army, Posada and other agencies teamed up this year to help struggling families.
They've collected toys for more than 5,000 children, but say there's still at least 300 kids on a waiting list. Right now they're asking for more donations for infants and teens.
"It's really tight for many families and this is a really fun event and we're still looking for volunteers and it's a real positive experience," said Anne Stattelman, Director of Posada.
If you'd like to help out, you can drop off donations on Friday between 9:30 a.m. at 4:30 a.m. The address is 1625 Prairie Ave. in Pueblo.
