Final 2nd BCT soldiers returning home this weekend

Another 45 soldiers will return home to Fort Carson this weekend from a 12 month deployment to Iraq. They are tentatively scheduled to arrive at the Mountain Post Saturday at 11 p.m.
They are members of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. This flight represents the last contingent of the 2nd BCT, 4th ID Soldiers to redeploy to Fort Carson. Soldiers have been returning home over the past month.
Soldiers of the "Warhorse" brigade performed a myriad of missions during their deployment. The 2nd BCT is a mechanized infantry brigade with approximately 3,800 Soldiers.
