Many of Richard Heene's friends and supporters seem to have taken off as fast as the balloon the
Colorado man claimed his son floated off in. But not Steven C. Barber. The 48-year-old filmmaker says he still believes Heene really thought his son was in the balloon as it spun wildly through the skies on Oct. 15.

Barber plans to prove it when he releases the documentary "Balloon Boy: Guilty Until Proven Innocent" later this year. Barber is adamant he didn't pay Heene for any of the footage he recorded, either before or after the misadventure.

If Barber did pay, it would violate the terms of Heene's probation and could land Heene in jail for considerably longer than the 90 days he is now doing after pleading guilty to falsely influencing authorities.
